MAINTENANCE & MAIN INSPECTION
Professional brake maintenance at SCHWARZER includes the replacement of all wearing parts including connection cables. In addition, various measurements are carried out – for example, the adhesive force measurement according to VDE 0580 and B012, the measurement of the insulation resistance according to DIN EN 50215 and the measurement of the internal resistance of the coil. All test values are carefully documented, also by 3.1 certificates. Our warranty on materials and services complies with the legal requirements. We carry out maintenance according to the respective operating instructions, main inspections exactly according to our specifications. We are also happy to consider your specific requests.
RECONDITIONING & REPAIR
Reconditioning and repairs at SCHWARZER in Halle / Westphalia follow a precisely defined workflow. After delivery of the complete brake, it is cleaned from top to bottom and checked for possible damage. This is followed by the replacement of the necessary new and wear parts – only in-house manufacturer spare parts are used. A careful repainting completes the work. It is also possible to recondition and repair individual components.
TESTS
In the construction of rail vehicles, reliable strength tests are essential for a safe operation. SCHWARZER carries out all the necessary tests for operational strength in accordance with B012. Our performance spectrum ranges from planning and execution to evaluation. This applies to bogie equipment as well as to rigid magnetic brakes.
TRAINING
SCHWARZER offers qualified training, for example, for the maintenance of the magnetic track brakes or the actuators.
